Top 10 Hot Rods from NSRA Kalamazoo
It was the perfect time to cruise through the 36th annual NSRA Street Rod Nationals North Plus held at the Kalamazoo Country Expo Center & Fairgrounds in Kalamazoo, Michigan in search of the latest ten award recipients of the Painless Performance and Street Rodder Top 100. In searching for the latest winners we canvassed every inch of the fairgrounds to locate this grouping which includes a great variety of builds and styles including a custom-designed 1932 Austin Speedster, a dramatic traditional 1930 Ford sedan in candy blue and even a wicked Y-block powered 1957 Ford Courier wagon. What follows is a great example of hot rodding at its finest with the rides we awarded the latest Painless Performance and Street Rodder Top 100 picks to at Kalamazoo.

To infuse plenty of dramatic style, Rob Purcell added a healthy chop & channel while also filling the roof before a coating of effervescent Valspar Shockwave Blue pearl was laid down. Power comes from a ’49 Cadillac mill topped with an Edelbrock 3-deuce intake with custom lake pipes while rolling on classic Radir wheels.
