The Ten Most Dangerous Vehicles Found On The Streets Of The United States
5. Mercury Grand Marquis
This luxury sedan was Mercury’s claim to fame throughout much of its lifetime. The Grand Marquis saw a production run that lasted 36 years and featured five different body style generations. That last of the five was sold from 2003 through the 2011 body when the Grand Marquis and Mercury itself were shut down by Ford Motor Company. The Grand Marquis was powered by Ford’s 4.6 liter V8 and was the highest level of luxury offered by Mercury. Despite the luxury, 57 out of a million units resulted with accidents that contained a fatality. All in all 2.7 million Grand Marquis were sold and the math states that 154 people lost their lives while driving this car.
