6.  Jeep Patriot

Jeep is known around the world for building some of the best off roading machines ever.  Their bodies contain powerful engines and a potent 4 wheel drive platform that make journeys off of the pavement enjoyable for many.  The Patriot shares the same platform as the Dodge Nitro, also found on this list, and is one of the most deadly vehicles in the United States to this day.  57 people out of 1 million accidents involving a Patriot have lost their lives.  The engineers at Jeep have done little to change the safety flaws found in the platform.
