9.  Kia Rio

The Rio is the highest selling Kia of all time.  In 2013 alone almost 3 million of these economy sedans were sold world wide.  When the Rio was first released in 2000 it was the world’s least expensive mass produced car.  Understandably this drew a large crowd of people to the Rio platform but cheap isn’t always the best route to take.  For every 1 million accidents involving a Rio in the United States 149 people died.  That’s a huge body count!
