9.  Donkervoort D8 RS  –  7:14.89

It as made up as it looks but this Dutch speed demon is a real as they come.  This open wheeled creation is powered by the engine from an Audi R4 and produces 345 horsepower.  It normally takes quite a bit more power than that to have one of the top times at the Nürburgring but the D8 RS makes up for its loss of power with a curb weight of 1,300 pounds.  The turbocharged 1.8 liter shocked the world in 2005 with its lap time of 7 minutes and 14.89 seconds.
