Aston Martin details its 2017 product lineup
Say goodbye to the V8 Vantage, V8 Vantage GT, and V8 Vantage S. For the new model year, Aston Martin will consolidate all of these models into one offering: the V8 Vantage GTS. The company has confirmed a $137,820 starting price and a limited production run of just 100 units for the updated car.
The 2017 Aston Martin V8 Vantage GTS comes with a familiar 4.7-liter V-8 with 430 hp and 361 lb-ft of torque. Buyers can choose between a six-speed manual and seven-speed automated manual transmission, as well as coupe and roadster body styles. Roadster models command a significantly higher price of $152,320.
Two unique configurations—named Sport and Lux—are available on the GTS. The Sport version includes a Sport suspension, carbon fiber exterior detailing, leather and Alcantara interior trim, and an upgraded audio system as standard. Lux models boast a piano black fascia, bright finish exterior detailing, and a Comfort suspension.
Aston Martin has already detailed the V12 Vantage S, which now features an optional seven-speed manual transmission. The row-your-own version costs $202,820, a heftier price than the $191,620 price tag when equipped with the Sportshift automated manual transmission. Standard features include heated seats, a premium audio system, a new integrated satellite navigation system, and Apple CarPlay smartphone compatibility.
